One of the biggest events in the area is the Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival that takes place every year in Myrtle Beach. If you’ll be here at the end of the month staying in any of the local North Myrtle Beach hotels you’ll be close to the festival and we really suggest you check it out. It’s a whole lot of tasty fun!
The Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival takes place from Aug. 31-Sept. 2, 2012 at Grand Park at The Market Common, Myrtle Beach. The hours of the festival are Friday 6-9:30 p.m., Saturday 12-9:30 p.m., and Sunday 12-5 p.m. There is a free kids zone on Sat. and Sun. from 12-5 p.m. Come to enjoy the unlimited samples for only $10 on Saturday while supplies last. Checkout the various Arts & Craft exhibitors. There’s a Beer Garden open all three days, too.
Friday, Aug. 31
6:30 p.m. “Anything Goes” competition samples for $1 each. Beef, seafood, desserts and everything in between while supplies last.
7:00 p.m. Wakeboarding Demo on Grand lake
Saturday, Sept. 1
12-5 p.m. Sample BBQ from 40+ teams with a $10 wristband while supplies last

1, 3, and 5 p.m. Wakeboarding Demos on Grand Lake
2-3 p.m. Free watermelon while supplies last
