Annual North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree Lighting takes place Friday, December 2, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at McClean Park.The park will be transformed into a brilliant holiday scene with luminaries, decorations and the spirit of Christmas. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and include holiday songs and entertainment by local dance groups. Once the tree has been lit, the children are invited to visit with Santa and receive a free bag of candy while the entertainment continues. Complimentary hot chocolate and refreshments served.
