A Great Season to Start Golfing

North Myrtle Beach SC rentalsGolfers across the country are excited to hit the greens now that spring is here. The weather is beautiful this time of year as the heat of summer has not arrived. There are still less crowded conditions and the courses are beautifully manicured. The two best reasons for playing now are weather and price. In addition, we have North Myrtle Beach SC rentals priced so low it will knock the socks off your clubs.

Whether you are drawn here this spring by our affordable golf tee times, North Myrtle Beach SC rentals, or the discounted events taking place, golfers are always wonderfully surprised when they arrive. While you can still get discounted rates on rentals there are plenty of North Myrtle Beach SC rentals for the occasional traveler and overnighter who requires a shorter stay, too.

The exciting aspect of playing golf in the spring is that no two days are alike; one day will be all sunny, and the next day breezes come in off the ocean. It is conditions like these that have inspired Arnold Palmer, Pete Dye, and Rees Jones to design courses here, using geography and weather as part of their artistry.

On Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m. there will be the Lost at Sea Annual Memorial Ceremony. The ceremony will be held at Morse Park Landing (next to the Hot Fish Club) on Hwy 17 Business in Murrells Inlet. The Lost at Sea Memorial was erected in 2006 to pay tribute to all those who lost their lives at sea and were never found. The Memorial, located at Morse Park Landing, was established by the family of Johnny Brown, a 38-year old Murrells Inlet commercial fisherman who was lost at sea in 2005. All the people, whose names are etched on the monument, will be remembered at the ceremony. Call 843-458-7671 or visit the Lost at Sea Memorial website for more information about the ceremony or the memorial.
