Mardi Gras Parade & Party – March 4th
Dick’s Last Resort, located at Barefoot Landing, is hosting their 22nd Annual Mardi Gras celebration on Fat Tuesday – March 4th this year. The event kicks off at 5pm with a festive parade, full of colorful local floats. The evening continues with festive food and drink specials all night long at the restaurant! St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival – March 15th
Grab your spot along Ocean Boulevard to experience the 26th Annual North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade will begin promptly at 9am and meander down Main Street. Immediately following the parade there will be a lively festival celebrating everything Irish! There will be a children’s area with games, face painting, and more, in addition to a wide array of food and drink vendors. The festival lasts from 11am – 4pm. Myrtle Beach Boardwalk St. Patrick’s Day Festival – March 15th
Head south to the newly renovated Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to take part in their annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival. The festival kicks off at noon and runs until 11pm that evening. Elise Testone, formerly of American Idol, is headlining the event and will be joined by several other regional and local artists. There will be a wide array of food and beverage vendors and an impressive Irish Beer Garden. Myrtle Beach Beer Fest – March 29th
Visit the area’s premier venue for live entertainment, the Myrtle Beach House of Blues, to take part in their 6th Annual Beer Festival. There are two sessions – an early bird from 2pm – 5pm and then a later session from 6pm – 9pm; both sessions are only $35 / person. April Music Festival – April 19th
Enjoy warmer weather and wonderful wines at La Belle Amie Vineyard’s April Music Festival. Located at the winery just up the road in Little River, this lively event will feature live entertainment, light hors d’oeuvres, and – of course – plenty of wine. Divas Half Marathon / 5K – April 27th
Dress to impress for this year’s most fabulous event – The Diva Half Marathon Series. This event has a half marathon and a 5K portion and showcases the best of the beach. Runners are encouraged to deck out in feather boas, tiaras, glitter, and pink as they channel their inner diva. After the race, runners are awarded with a fabulous glammed out medal to match the theme of the day. Registration may be completed online any time prior to the race.
