A Review of Thistle Golf Club

Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort recently played at Thistle Golf Club in Sunset Beach, NC. The Clubhouse is very large and very nice. You think you are back in old Scotland. Snack Bar was good with lots of tables. Pro Shop was nicely stocked and everyone we met was very courteous and made us feel welcome. We played 18 holes on the Stewart and MacKay Courses. The golf course is beautiful and very well maintained. There is lots of water and sand on the course. We left our fair share of golf balls in the water. Tees were in good shape. Greens were fast and diabolical but a lot of fun. Our Threesome played the course in just under 4 hours. We highly recommend Thistle Golf Club if you like a good golf challenge.
