North Myrtle Beach
North Myrtle Beach is a coastal resort city in Horry County, South Carolina. It was created in 1968 from four existing municipalities north of Myrtle Beach, and serves as one of the primary tourist towns along the Grand Strand. North Myrtle Beach is home to the Barefoot Landing shopping and restaurant center which opened in 1988; it includes 100 stores, restaurants, and attractions. Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort is conveniently located about ten minutes from Barefoot Landing. North Myrtle Beach also has a variety of miniature golf courses so no matter if you’re an adult who is young at heart or if you’re looking for a family outing with the children, there are plenty of courses around to take a swing at the greens.
North Myrtle Beach also has the Myrtle Beach Mall filled with a unique mix of nationally recognized retailers, specialty shops, and great places to eat. In addition to the mall it includes the states only Bass Pro and Fishing shop. Also known for the SOS fall migration where for 10 days, shaggers come down to dance and let loose on the main street of North Myrtle Beach, the city provides entertainment as well as an array of local restaurants and pubs to frequent during this event.  “Music on Main” is the new concert series in the city which is typically held on Tuesdays and Thursdays offering great music for all ages as well as amusement rides and games. Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort is conveniently located just a few blocks from Main Street  another reason to come stay with us when visiting the city.
