Resort Policy

CHECK-IN: Begins at 4:00 p.m. Please note the check-in time of 4:00 p.m. may be extended for special cleaning and maintenance. Please note that the minimum check-in age is 25. Local guests are not permitted to register. The front desk will be closed at 11 p.m. Please complete your check-in before this time. In case of emergencies after hours, there is a dedicated help number available for assistance.

CHECK OUT: 11:00 a.m. or earlier.

UPON ARRIVAL: Please check your room thoroughly upon arrival. Every effort is made to ensure your room is cleaned and undamaged before arrival. If this is not the case, please report any discrepancies immediately to the front desk to ensure that the problem is resolved and you will not be held responsible.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations may be placed 7 days a week. A prepayment of one-half (50%) of the rental rate is required to confirm a reservation that is more than 30 days before arrival. The total reservation amount (100%) is due 30 days before arrival, and reservations made within 30 days of arrival are due in full at the time of booking. A valid Visa, Master Card, or American Express may also be used for prepayment. Pre-payment MUST be received at the time of your reservation. Local residents are not permitted to register. Upon receipt of your deposit, written confirmation will be sent via e-mail showing the reserved room type, remaining balance, and rental dates. Check-in and check-out will be through the front desk located in our lobby at 1819 North Ocean Blvd – North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.

MONTHLY RENTALS: A nonrefundable $200.00 deposit is required when the reservation is made. The remaining balance is paid at the time of check-in. If staying multiple months, rent is due on the first of the month for the upcoming month. If staying more than 3 months (90 days), the state tax can be rebated when the 3rd month’s rent is paid.

BALANCE: The total balance of your charges is due 30 days before arrival. Balance may be paid by check or credit card. The final payment will be posted to your account. Any unpaid balance resulting from additional services must be paid at check-in with cash, credit, or certified funds. No personal checks are accepted at check-in.

PREPAYMENT VERIFICATION: The debit or credit card used to make the deposit on the reservation must be present at the time of check-in along with a matching government-issued photo ID.

PRICES: Subject to 12% sales/accommodations tax & other fees

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A major credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover cards, or American Express) is required upon check-in for any incidentals or damages incurred during your stay.

  • Accident Forgiveness is automatically included in your reservations for  $39.99 that covers up to $250 in non-negligent damage.
    • The Accident Forgiveness is not insurance but is an agreement that covers non-negligent or accidental damage. Non-negligent or accidental damage may include but is not limited to: scratches to the wall, accidental breakage of glassware, spills, minor stains, and accidental furniture breakage.
    • The Accident Forgiveness does not cover intentional or neglectful damage to the unit. This may include but is not limited to damage caused by a party, damage caused by smoking or pets, theft or removal of unit inventory, or furniture breakage if determined negligent.
    • Guests’ personal property is not included under the terms of the Accident Forgiveness

 

PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed for guests. If a pet is found in a room or on the property with a guest, then the person responsible for the room will need to remove the pet immediately from the premises. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the property with no refund

CANCELLATION POLICY:

– If you cancel at least 14 days before your arrival, there’s a 25% cancellation fee based on your total stay cost.
– If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival, you won’t get any refund.
– You can use your advanced deposit as a deposit for a different stay within 1 year of your original reservation.
– Leaving early won’t result in a refund, and if you don’t show up, you’ll lose the entire cost of your stay.

HURRICANE CANCELLATION POLICY

  • In the event of a pending hurricane and the Governor issues a mandatory evacuation, guests will receive a full refund.
  • If there is not evacuation, guests can reallocate the advanced deposit to be used as the deposit toward different stay dates within 1 year of the original reservation
 

AGE REQUIREMENTS: WE RENT TO FAMILIES AND RESPONSIBLE ADULTS ONLY. Please note that the minimum check-in age is 25. Local residents are not permitted to register.

PARKING: Campers, trailers, boats, golf carts, scooters, hoverboards, skate boards are NOT allowed on property. Parking is limited to two (2) cars. If you have any special parking needs, please contact the front desk. Parking passes must be displayed in front windshield at all times. Oversized vehicles need to park in back parking lot. Motocyles may only park in the outside back parking lot and not allowed to park in any area of the garage. 

HOUSEKEEPING: All linens are furnished for your room. Please be aware that we do not provide daily maid service. Please note: Towels provided in the room are meant for in room use only and are not to be taken from the room.

ADDITIONAL RENTAL ITEMS: Items such as, port-a-cribs, full-size cribs, etc. are available from various equipment rental companies. Roll away beds are not allowed. The equipment will be delivered to your room. Payment must be made upon delivery. Please note: This service is not a part of Tilghman Beach Rentals LLC., and we will not be responsible for item condition or breakdown.

SMOKING: Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort provides a completely smoke-free and tobacco-free experience for our guests. All smoking, electronic cigarettes, vaporizer, and smokeless tobacco use of any kind is prohibited in all rooms, balconies, and all common areas of the resort including pool decks, hallways, parking decks and entryways.

Violation of this policy will result in a cleaning fee of $250.00 and/or eviction.

OWNERS CLOSETS: Many owners have their personal items locked in a closet for their convenience. These areas are not included in any rental. Please do not attempt to open these locked closets – they are for HOMEOWNER USE ONLY. If you break into the closet, your guest account will be charged for any repairs as well as missing items.

QUIET HOURS: Observed from 10 pm till 8 am. Loud parties will not be tolerated. TV’s, stereo’s or musical instruments should be used with discretion – especially during quiet hours. Excessive noise could result in immediate eviction and non-refund of stay. Anything thrown off balconies is prohibited and could result in immediate eviction and non-refund of stay.

PLEASE NOTE: Property items (such as bedspreads, pillows, chairs, pots and pans, dishes, etc.) are NOT to be taken out of the room as each room is individually owned. All rooms are inventoried after each departure. Any missing items will be charged to the registered party.

OUR IN-HOUSE MAINTENANCE and HOUSEKEEPING STAFF: If you should discover that your room has not been cleaned or has any damages, please report it to us immediately, and we will make all efforts to resolve the problem. Check-out time is NOT the time to inform us about problems. We cannot issue refunds for mechanical breakdowns or room cleanliness. Tilghman Beach Rentals, LLC personnel or representatives shall have the right to enter the property at reasonable hours to make timely repairs or inspections. If a service call is made and entry is refused, the renter will be liable for service call fees.

LOST and FOUND: Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort will NOT be responsible for any personal items left in the rooms. The guest will be responsible for any mailing charges required if you request us to pick up and mail any items left behind.

NOTE: In the event that a rental room cannot be occupied or is sold, Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort reserve the right to transfer reservations to a comparable room. Tenant agrees to pay any difference in rental amount and not hold owner or agent liable for any, consequential or secondary damages. Tenant shall not be entitled to any refund due to unfavorable weather, maintenance problems, area construction, ready departure, or disruption of utility services (including phone and cable), after occupancy. In the event of an ordered evacuation due to a hurricane or other storms, a refund may be considered for the prorated amount of time from the date of ordered evacuation until the area is reopened. This will be made following the written request of same by the tenant to agent. Tilghman Beach Rental Group LLC., reserves the right to correct any errors in pricing and description on this website.
