The holiday season is upon us along the Grand Strand, and with an abundance of seasonal attractions from which to choose, it can be difficult to narrow things down to the “best of the best.” That’s why today we’re highlighting three holiday attractions you and your family can experience and enjoy during your Myrtle Beach holiday vacation!
First up: A Very Broadway Christmas Parade takes place at Broadway at the Beach on Saturday, December 3rd at 11 a.m. Get into the holiday spirit this year with marching bands, classic cars and stilt walkers – all followed by a fireworks extravaganza!
Throughout the holiday season, enjoy The Great Christmas Light Show! This drive-through light show features more than 2 million lights festively displayed along a two-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. After taking in this exhilarating display, visitors are invited to Santa’s Village, where they can enjoy tasty seasonal varietals including hot chocolate and smores. The Great Christmas Light Show, Drive Through Experience is open now through December 30.
Take a ride down to the south end of the Grand Strand to Brookgreen Gardens and enjoy the magnificent splendor of Nights of a Thousand Candles. If you’re ready to experience one of the most cherished holiday events in the Southeast, look no further than this one. Named “Best Christmas Lights in South Carolina” by Travel+Leisure Magazine, this event is one for the whole family to enjoy. Be sure to check out this remarkable spectacle at least once, now until January 1st, 2023.
The greater North Myrtle Beach area offers the perfect mix of attractions to keep you and the family in the holiday spirit. We look forward to seeing you at Tilghman this holiday season!
