Are you looking for something different to do the weekend of September 28th – 30th, 2018? Why not head down to the 43rd Annual Atalaya Arts & Crafts Fest at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet. Over 100 artists will have their work displayed over the weekend at the former winter home and sculpture studio of Archer and Anne Hyatt Huntington. Visitors will also be treated to live music by accomplished local musicians on a stage in the courtyard, as well as a food court with seafood, barbecue and other regional delights.
Enjoy the day admiring fine art and quality crafts in mediums such as woodwork, metal work, photography, basketry, clay, glass, jewelry, and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to take in the park’s natural beauty as well as the amenities offered to visitors year-round. The 2,500-acre park’s freshwater lagoon, salt marsh and maritime forest also are outstanding examples of the state’s natural coastal environment, and the park is widely regarded as one of the best birding sites along the East Coast. Its natural history is highlighted in the park’s environmental education center.
This event will be running from Noon to 6pm on Friday, September 28th
