The “Holiday Spirit” is about to hit the Grand Strand! Grab family and friends to check out some of the following tree lighting ceremonies and celebrations coming to our area:
Barefoot Landing: The annual “Lighting of the Landing” will be held at 6p.m. on November 18th. Santa Claus will be ushering in the holiday spirit along with fireworks, live music, free carousel rides, refreshments, live animals and more.
The Market Common: The 6th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at The Market Common will be held on November 18th at 6 p.m. in front of Grand 14 Cinema with fun and holiday cheer for the whole family.
Surfside Beach: The Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting will run from 7 to 9 p.m. on November 30th at the Town Hall. Enjoy live music, tasty treats and a cameo appearance by Good ‘Ole St. Nick!
Calabash, N.C.: Calabash’s tree lighting begins with a Spirit of Calabash Christmas parade marching down Beach Drive. Holiday music, live entertainment, Christmas carols, and a visit from Santa Claus! The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by entertainment and a Christmas Tree Lighting around 7:00 p.m.
Broadway at the Beach: The fun-filled annual Broadway Christmas Tree Lighting will begin at 6 p.m. on December 2nd. Broadway at the Beach will host their 23rd annual Christmas tree lighting with live entertainment and fireworks show.
North Myrtle Beach: Join Santa and his friends at the Sandhills Bank Ampitheatre in the NMB Park & Sports Complex on December 5th at 5:30 p.m. for the lighting ceremony. Activities, entertainment and refreshments are available for children of all ages.
