If you’re into golf,  you’ll be proud to know that Myrtle Beach ranks as having the top courses among the list of preferred greens on Golf Week’s list of best public courses in South Carolina!

In Golfweek’s recently-released State-by-State Courses You Can Play Ranking for 2015, which is a list of each state’s top courses that are accessible to the public, the Myrtle Beach area has 11 of S.C.’s top 15 layouts.

Caledonia and The Dunes Club, a pair of consensus top 100 public courses in other publications, are the top area courses at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively.

They are followed by True Blue Golf Club (No. 6), Tidewater Golf Club (No. 7), King’s North at Myrtle Beach National (No. 8), TPC Myrtle Beach (No. 9), Heritage Club (No. 10), Grande Dunes Resort Course (No. 11), Pine Lakes Country Club (No. 13), and the Love (No. 14) and Fazio (No. 15) courses at Barefoot Resort.
